A woman in a small Central Washington town struggles against a new marriage and is forced to reckon with a life that falls short of her ideals. HEDDA is a daring, urgent update of the Norwegian masterpiece. Finding rich inspiration in the Dogme movement, this has been called an ‘indelible, claustrophobic portrait of Hedda’.
